About the Role
Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for electrical systems and substation management? Join us to take charge of the operations and maintenance of high-voltage substations. You’ll lead teams, ensure safe practices, and uphold technical standards to keep power flowing seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily operations and maintenance activities of the substation.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Monitor substation equipment (transformers, breakers, relays, etc.) for performance, faults, and anomalies.
- Prepare and maintain operation and maintenance records, test reports, and incident logs.
- Coordinate with utility and dispatch teams for load management and shutdown planning.
- Conduct regular inspections and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Train and guide junior technicians and contractors on substation systems and safe work practices.
Who We’re Looking For
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in substation O&M (Operation & Maintenance) for 33kV and above.
- Technical Skills:
- Sound knowledge of HT/LT systems, protection relays, circuit breakers, SCADA, and power transformers.
- Experience in troubleshooting substation faults and coordinating emergency responses.
- Leadership: Capable of leading teams, assigning tasks, and reporting to management.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Flexibility: Willing to work in rotational shifts and respond to critical issues outside normal hours.
